Following the death of George Floyd, protestors gathered on June 1, 2020, in Riverside, California to cry out against racial inequities and police brutality.
“George Floyd” and “Breonna Taylor,” were among the names chanted.
Demonstrators walk on American flags conveying their message of unrest.
Cars stopped to show their support for the movement
Police monitored from rooftops with cell phones.
Protestors were blocked in front of Robert Presley Detention Center by a steel barricade and a line of police officers heavily equipped.
Law enforcement came with pepper spray, rubber bullets, and batons.
A plane flew a banner with the words, “We love the police. USA thanks you.”
