Are you interested in going somewhere fun this spring/ summer, yet balling on a budget?
If this applies to you, CSUDH offers a copious student discount for various theme parks. Some of the parks include Knott’s Berry Farm, Soak City, Universal Studios, Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor.
The tickets can be purchased online at lsucsudh.org or at the Torozone/LSU Gameroom located on the lower level of the Loker Student Union, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
In the Torozone students can take a break from studying and enjoy a game of pool on one of the four billiards tables or a fun round of air hockey. The Torozone is also fully equipped with the latest game consoles if you’re daring.
However, if you’re just in the mood for some off campus fun, ticket pricing goes as follows: Knott’s Berry Farm regular price ticket is $75 and students only pay $42. Universal Studios regular price is $115 and students price is $89. Lastly, Six Flags and Hurricane Harbor tickets regular price is $65.99 and students pay only $51.
Oftentimes as students, we may be busy with juggling life and homework and are not aware of all the benefits we are provided with just for being enrolled in school. Therefore, it is important for us to get the full benefits during our duration in college, so we can make the most of our college experience, as well as celebrating education with a little fun at a great cost.
Make sure you ask wherever you go because even movie theatres offer discounts to students. All you have to do is ask. Closed mouths don’t get fed!
