Hidden Sole, a new urban shoe and clothing store in Carson, has become popular on campus and in the community.
What started as a pop-up shop in Los Angeles, now has an official location near CSUDH.
Owners Chibuike and Darren Holmes saw a new direction for their company, and wanted a permanent retail location where they could sell the latest sneakers and other fashions.
Chibuike, a viral club promoter, and Holmes, a popular sneakerhead, decided to combine their talents. Hidden Sole is located right in the heart of Carson, where both owners grew up.
“I figured us being from Carson, it was a good place to put this in the community,” said Chibuike.
It’s more than just a clothing and shoe store; it sells some of the most popular items trending in fashion.
Items from Adidas, such as Yeezys, to the newest Jordan releases are on the shelves. Other name brand items offered range from Supreme, Fenty and Nike.
“We offer all sizes of shoes,” said Chibuike. “If you want a shoe we don’t have in store, I’ll go get it.”
They also sell sneakers and clothing on consignment, so those with in-demand kicks can make money selling their items.
Hidden Sole helps out the community by hiring locals, including Cal State Dominguez Hills students.
